G80 M3 / G82 M4 front rotors — 380 × 36 mm, sold as a pair.
Same 380 mm diameter as the F80, 6 mm thicker, and a different hub. The G-series front disc is 380 × 36 mm on a 67 mm centre bore; the F80's 380 × 30 mm disc shares the diameter and nothing else. That is the single most common wrong part we get asked about.
G3500 high-carbon ring, 63 mm total height, 5 bolt holes on the 67 mm bore, 6061-T6 aluminium hat with stainless floating hardware. A thicker disc means more heat capacity at the same diameter — useful on a car heavier than the F80 it replaced.
Measure thickness before anything else. Both the F80 and the G80 run a 380 mm front disc; only the G80 is 36 mm thick against 30 mm, on a 63 mm hat against 62.4 mm. A caliper set up for a 30 mm disc will not take a 36 mm one.

▸ Fixed or full-floating — which one?
The G80 is heavy enough that we default to Full-floating for cars that see track days. Fixed remains the quieter choice for a daily.
▸ Pads, bedding and ring replacement
A thicker disc runs cooler at the face, which changes bed-in — take two or three extra stops beyond the usual six to eight to get a full transfer layer.
