R35 GT-R front rotors — 390 × 32.7 mm, sold as a pair.
On a GT-R the front disc is not a wear item you think about until it is a problem. The 390 × 32.7 mm ring on a later R35 has to absorb the braking load of a heavy car that arrives at corners far faster than its weight suggests — and it has to do it lap after lap without going off-round.
The GT-R has run a two-piece front disc since launch, so this is a like-for-like replacement, not a conversion. What changes is the ring: G3500 high-carbon cast iron at 390 × 32.7 mm, 30.7 mm minimum, 48.7 mm total height, 68 mm centre bore, 5 bolt holes. The hat is 6061-T6 aluminium, joined through stainless floating hardware.
Identification is a single measurement: 390 mm across the face. The earlier 380 mm disc is visibly 10 mm smaller and runs a different caliper spacing, so the two never share a part number — and never share a pad.
R35 front, 390 mm — OE 40206KB50A and 40206KJ10A. Earlier cars use the 380 × 34 mm pair, OE 40206JF20A.
▸ Fixed or full-floating — which one?
Fixed suits a road GT-R; Full-floating is what most track cars run. The rattle at low speed is the ring moving, not a fault.
▸ Pads, bedding and ring replacement
Because the hat stays, the second set of rings costs a fraction of a full disc. Bed new rings in with 6–8 stops from 80 km/h and re-check torque on the hat bolts after the first heat cycle.
▸ Lead time
Built to order. Production takes 10–12 days. Left and right are matched and marked before packing. Transit time depends on destination and service — we confirm shipping and delivery dates by email before you pay.
