Audi RS3 8Y front rotors — 374 × 36 mm, sold as a pair.
374 mm is an awkward number, and that is exactly why it is easy to buy the wrong disc. The 8Y RS3 runs 374 × 36 mm; the 8V ran 370 × 34 mm. Four millimetres of diameter and two of thickness, and nothing between them is interchangeable — pads, calipers and disc all differ.
G3500 high-carbon ring at 374 × 36 mm, 34.0 mm minimum, 50 mm total height, 65 mm centre bore, 5 bolt holes, 6061-T6 aluminium hat, stainless floating hardware. The 36 mm ring carries more heat capacity than the 34 mm disc it replaces, which is why it survives repeated stops without going blue.
374 is the number to look for, not 370. Measure across the face at two points to rule out a worn 8V disc, then check thickness — 36 mm here against 34 mm on the 8V, on a 50 mm hat against 59.8 mm.
RS3 8Y front, 374 × 36 mm — OE 4M0615301BJ. The 8V disc is 370 × 34 mm, OE 8V0615301D and variants, and will not fit.
▸ Fixed or full-floating — which one?
The 8Y is front-heavy under braking; Full-floating is what we recommend for spirited road use and track days. Fixed is fine for a daily.
▸ Pads, bedding and ring replacement
Five-cylinder cars tend to run hot pads. Bed in with 6–8 stops and let the disc cool fully before the first hard use.
▸ Lead time
Built to order. Production takes 10–12 days. Left and right are matched and marked before packing. Transit time depends on destination and service — we confirm shipping and delivery dates by email before you pay.
